why is it that black seems OK on this car?

I'm so sick of non-colors. None of my current cars have color - they are white, gray and black (I bought them all used...).

But the Gallardo seems so nice in black

I thought this looked pretty bad-ass, especially with the black wheels and yellow calipers. Personally I'm not a fan of "look at me" colors, so I dig this, and white does look pretty excellent on Lambos.

For an exotic, sure. I've had two green trucks, one white truck, and now a kind of grayish brown truck (the funky color Ford likes so much). I want a bright ass color for my first car.

Just not yellow. Fuck that color, it sucks.

Ohhhhh years. Yellow calipers are a must with black or charcoal.

I'm torn. I don't want to be looked at more (especially by cops), but I like the look at me colors on many cars. I wish my E90 was Le Mans Blue instead of white. I wish the E46 was Laguna Seca Blue. And I wish the 997 was the Speedster Blue.

If I had a Ferrari I'd want it to be Tour De France blue or Rosso Corsa. And the Lambos look good in almost all colors.

I guess the safe thing is to think about resale. If Ferrari then Rosso Corsa or black are safest. If Lambo then I'm not sure, I'd have to research it

I agree that yellow sucks in most cases. But I think it looks good on some cars.

For some reason yellow is terrible to my eyes on the F430. But I kind of like it on the 458. I think yellow looks better on the cars with more aggressive lines. I can handle it on the Gallardo too, but I would puke if someone forced me to buy a yellow 599.

but then i had a dream about some weird blocky sports car that for some reason was a corvette but not really because it was all weird and blocky (for real that happened to me and i wanted to lock it in my brain because in my weird dream world for five seconds ALL WAS RIGHT WITH THAT CAR) but i didnt drive it or anything and i kind of wish i had.

moral of the story: i realized at that point that my dreams are fucked up and i want a blocky sports car exterior with the internal of a vector w8 and i want it to be white.

bottom line is, i took a road trip and over 2700 miles from austin to seattle i saw two dodge vipers. a gen v and a gen II. in red. and i thought, no thats not right, it should be a gen IV and it should be green and also should be a coupe and should purr like a kitten and there should be more of them on the road. then all would be right in the world. no, wait, if they replaced all of the shitty fucking stupid looking 2000-2010 era 'vettes (i cant state how unattractive they are, god, theyre fucking ugly) on the road with dodge vipers, and all of the douchy old white men driving them with responsible oppos all would be right in the world.

I like "non-colors" because to me they never get old. White is my favorite because it's really pretty when maintained, and it stays clean longer than black. If I was wealthy though and had tons of cars I might get a few cars with real color, but can't think of what car or what color, because all I want are white and black Mercedes and a white 911 and a white M3.
